In nature, nothing gets lost or destroy everything gets transform
Like electrical energy into heat, the energy of the Sun into electrical energy and so on.
The Universe started with the big bang, this was a massive explosion of energy.
From there all we know was formed, Galaxy's, stars, planets, to the atoms. in the atoms, we have protons and electrons, depending on the number of protons and electrons we get all the elements of the periodic table
These elements are the foundation of everything from rocks to plants to us or even a star
So yes we are all connected thought the energy, us to everything that is around us to the stars.
